Intraoperative CT and Robot at Epworth Richmond Hospital, Melbourne

Epworth Hospital in Richmond VIC/ Melbourne has installed its new intraoperative mobile Samsung Body-Tom CT scanner in the Lee Wing’s Neuro-, cardiac and hybrid theatre complex.

The scanner can be used in conjunction with Epworth’s Mazor Robot (above right image), or as a stand-alone during brain tumour, cerebrovascular and/or spinal surgery. It’s another way of helping make complex surgeries safer and more effective.
